Amar & Sarah’s City Wedding

The details on this day were truly incredible. After many months of waiting and rescheduling, Amar and Sarah finally celebrated their wedding day last August, and was it so worth the wait. The day started at S&A’s flat where Sarah, her mom and bridesmaids were getting ready. I got to meet their dog, Bruce, who was just the most handsome dog of honour.

They invited their close family and friends to their intimate ceremony at The Bloomsbury hotel’s library. After the ceremony, a larger party of friends and family met them at Wild by Tart in Victoria for a stunning reception. The space at Wild by Tart is so eclectic and unique — paintings cover the murals and there are so many modern touches across like the exposed ceiling and open kitchen. The layout of the tables was ma personal favourite, long, family style tables — I find this creates such a cozy environment. The decor was subtle, yet so stunning — the restaurant has a lot of its decor that the tables were kept clean and minimal. The night carried on after the ‘studio’ space opened up at Wild by Tart and revealed the dance floor. Negronis and espresso martinis flowed all night and Sarah & Amar’s family and friends celebrated them.
